How Cloys treats what you tell it.
In plain language, and only what we can stand behind today.
Who runs Cloys.
Cloys is run by Daryx Labs, LLC, founded by Derek Lovrenich. Write to [email protected].
Who can see your data.
Only you can see what you put into Cloys. No other user can, and Daryx Labs does not read your content.
Cloys remembers what you tell it and what it learns. Each person's data is separate.
What you can give Cloys.
Cloys works with what you put into it:
- What you tell it in chat.
- What you add to your plan, your body, your mind and your people.
- Lab results you upload as a PDF. Cloys reads them.
- Sleep, readiness and activity from your Oura ring, if you connect your own ring in Settings.
Outside services.
Two outside services are involved.
- Anthropic provides the AI model behind Cloys. What you say to Cloys, and the context it needs to answer, is sent to Anthropic to produce the reply.
- Oura, only if you connect your own ring. Your sleep, readiness and activity come to Cloys from Oura.
Those are the only outside services that handle your content.
Protected and recorded.
Sensitive fields are encrypted, and every action Cloys takes is written to an audit trail.
How long we keep it.
We keep your data while your account is open. After you delete your account, we keep only what the law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires.
Deleting your account.
Open Settings and choose Delete account. This is permanent: your data is removed, and that sign-in cannot be used for Cloys again.
Cloys proposes. You confirm.
When Cloys wants to change something, like a workout, a meal or a goal, it proposes the change. You confirm it under Pending.
Two small things happen straight away: saving a note and creating a personal task.
Cloys and Jefferson.
Linking your own Jefferson to Cloys is planned and not available yet. The plan is for it to be read only and one way: Cloys reads Jefferson, and Jefferson never reads Cloys.
Cloys is not a medical service.
Cloys is not a doctor. It does not diagnose or treat anything, and it does not make medical claims. It helps you track, plan and notice.
